senior PROJECT MANAGER - OFFSHORE CRANES

For our international client, REEL GmbH, we are exclusively looking for an experienced PROJECT MANAGER for its Imeca Offshore Cranes business line, based in Hoofddorp (5 minutes from Schiphol Airport)

The (senior) Project Manager we are looking for has already successfully completed several (new build) offshore projects. In principle, the workplace is in the Hoofddorp office (basic design), but traveling to other offices and production locations is part of the position. We are looking for an energetic person who is interested, eager and experienced but not the type ‘I have seen it all’.

Examples of offshore crane types: Knackle Boom Crane (250 tons), Telescope Boom Crane, 3D-Crane, Gangway, etc.

Tasks & Responsibilities

As Project Manager you are responsible for the project from start to handover of the cranes. The scope includes design, fabrication, assembly, installation, commissioning and test of the crane. You will work closely with your colleagues in the Hoofddorp and La Rochelle office to deliver the project. The role will require regular (direct) contact with the clients and suppliers.

Requirements

• Experienced Project Manager (5-10 years) with an entrepreneurial spirit
• Technical / Mechanical Engineering background
• Relevant experience with offshore projects in an OEM organization
• Experience with project management methods (Prince2, PMP)
• Proficient in English, both oral and written
• Willingness to travel (25%)
