PROJECT MANAGER

For our client, an internationally renowned engineering firm, we are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER OFFSHORE & ENERGY, based near Rotterdam-South

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the interdisciplinary coordination of an engineering team in multidisciplinary projects. Besides this, you will be responsible for the ​​budget, planning, delivery times and quality. You will maintain commercial contacts with (potential) clients and supervise tender processes for multidisciplinary projects. You will also make professional decisions in relation to interdisciplinary overlaps and provide support for the preparation of (multidisciplinary) specifications, draft specifications, contractual documents and general terms and conditions.

We are looking for someone with a higher professional or university education with a technical background, such as chemical technology, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering. You have extensive experience in the offshore sector. You know how to translate this knowledge and experience into an optimal design and a successful project. Preferably you have experience in various technical project functions within an engineering firm, for example as a lead engineer. Furthermore, it is important that you can negotiate with clients and contractors. In addition, a good command of the English language, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
